Akshay Kumar To Do A Whacky Comedy With Filmmaker Mudassar Aziz – Reports
In a year, Akshay Kumar usually releases 3-4 movies and out of which most of them turn out to be super-hits. Last year itself, the actor released his 4 films - Kesari, Mission Mangal, Housefull 4 and Good Newwz and all of them were very well received. For now, Akshay has quite a few films in his kitty such as Bachchan Pandey, Atrangi Re, Prithiviraj, Bell Bottom, Raksha Bandhan and an action comedy with Ekta Kapoor. Well, adding to the list, the latest reports we hear is that Akshay has yet again signed another film. Reportedly, he has given his nod to a whacky comedy film which is said to be helmed by filmmaker Mudassar Aziz.

“Akshay has come on board for Mudassar Aziz’s next, a whacky comedy. He said “yes” as soon as he heard the subject. He is trying to consciously strike a balance between real-life subjects, action thrillers, love stories with a difference, and laughter riots,” informed a source to Mumbai Mirror. Aziz has previously helmed Happy Bhag Jayegi and the remake of Pati Patni Aur Woh. This would be the first time when Akshay and Aziz will be working together. The same report further mentioned that Akshay is in talks for two more films, an investigative thriller and a social comedy, but is yet to take a final call on them “He has almost 10 films in his kitty and there’s talk of a show towards the end of 2021 too,” adds the source.

Somewhere in July or August, Akshay Kumar headed to Scotland to finish the shooting of Bell Bottom. The actor has wrapped up the film and has kick-started to shoot his periodical drama and cross-cultural love story Atrangi Re.
